After a quick swing past Brissie to help our friends, Craig and Hieds, renovate thier new rental property we arrived safely in Bangalow on a bamboo Farm. We had a great time and learnt a heap, our host Richard, who showed us a very different lifestyle !
We learnt about different spieceies of Bamboo , how to harvest them, propagate them easily , how to manage running bamboo and Justin made a few things - a candle holdes, egg cup and car antenna.
We attended a Chicken Auction and found out how passionate some people are about the little birds :S
and on our last day - our day off - we went into Byron Bay and attended a day of events with the Gyato Monks.
