Gyato Monks

They touched out hearts, inspired our minds and gave and gave... Beautiful .

We made prayer flags, attended a chanting mediation, listened to Guyma Lama talk about belonging and were invited to ritiual for healing. I am touched by the presence of these beautiful people and the love that they carry after experiencing so much devisation.

Talofa!

After a quick swing past Brissie to help our friends, Craig and Hieds, renovate thier new rental property we arrived safely in Bangalow on a bamboo Farm. We had a great time and learnt a heap, our host Richard, who showed us a very different lifestyle !

We learnt about different spieceies of Bamboo , how to harvest them, propagate them easily , how to manage running bamboo and Justin made a few things - a candle holdes, egg cup and car antenna.

We attended a Chicken Auction and found out how passionate some people are about the little birds :S

and on our last day - our day off - we went into Byron Bay and attended a day of events with the Gyato Monks.

MORE PHOTOS TO COME

Well we learnt a heap from Wild Mountains, and we will never forget our time spent there :)

And we finished off most of the Aframe! It will be used to sleep school kids who attend Wild Mountains Earth Keepers Programs.

Wild Mountains is still stunning!

This is Bruce's Shed, where we sleep - it was all built by hand (only two powered machines were used in the process 1. a 4x4 car to pull the framing up and a saw to cut the wood)

Playing with Clay

My first jug :) and using a slab technique. It was lots of fun and it looksnot too bad I think. Although I still have much to learn about using clay.

Business Blog

Well we have done it. Our business now has two blogs. I can't quite decide which one is better

I am leaning towards the first one. Any thoughts?
